Christmas Fudge

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup plain flour
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts

Preparation:

Beat butter and sugar till light. Add eggs and beat well in one direction till fluffy. Add chocolate syrup and vanilla essence. Mix flour and salt and beat well. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Pour the mixture in a baking dish. Garnish it with nuts and bake for 25 minutes. Cool and serve. Serves 6.
